First, read the book... Then, watch the movie #1 (English Version)

Although I love words I also adore images, so, besides reading, watching movies is one of my favourite things to do.
Today, starts a new series of five posts where I will, as usual, review a book and also its movie.
The first one will be "Elephants Can Remember" by Agatha Christie.

Plot: "Hercule Poirot stood on the cliffhoop. Here, many years earlier, there had been a fatal accident. This was followed by the grisly discovery of two bodies - a husband and wife who had been shot dead.
But who had killed whom? Was it a suicide pact? A crime of passion? Or cold-blooded murder? Poirot delves into the past and discovers that "old sins leave long shadows"."

Personal Opinion: This book, as all the other ones from Agatha Christie, is amazing!
The end is not so obvious and it grabs you from page one to the last one. I believe that this migth be one of the very bests.
Something that I really enjoyed was the use of the metaphors and the constant reminder that the past cannot be avoided.

Rate: 8/10 (Pretty good!)

You can find this book on Amazon.

Episode

This episode belongs to 13th season and it's the first one.
In my opinion, it's very similar to the book and therefore great, but, there has been added informations that do not come in the book but when all together make perfect sense.
All the sets are gorgeous and the characters are very good, such as, David Suchet (Hercule Poirot), Zöe Wanamaker (Ariadne Oliver) and Vanessa Kirby (Celia Ravenscroft).

Let me know your opinion on this book or on the episode!
